About Georgian College sponsorships

When possible, we collaborate with organizations across our campus regions through a range of contributions, which may include:

• Promotion to the Georgian community;
• Student engagement or participation;
• In-kind support or expertise;
• Event participation, and
• Other mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.

Eligibility criteria

We focus our support on initiatives that align with Georgian’s priorities. Requests will be considered where they:

• Support student success and the overall student experience;
• Contribute to student recruitment or pathway awareness;
• Advance career development or experiential learning opportunities;
• Strengthen the economic or social well-being of our communities, and
• Align with and enhance Georgian College’s brand and strategic priorities.

Georgian College does not provide sponsorship support for:

• Personal fundraising or individual requests;
• Requests from other postsecondary institutions;
• Religious or political organizations;
• Sports teams (unless raising funds that directly support Georgian students), and
• Requests that do not align with institutional priorities.

Our approach

We take a partnership-focused approach to community sponsorships. Priority is given to opportunities that:

• Demonstrate clear community impact;
• Offer meaningful engagement with students or staff, and
• Align with shared goals and values.

Strong partnerships are collaborative and mutually beneficial, connecting community need with student opportunity and institutional priorities.
