The Financial Aid and Awards presents Thrifty Thursdays, a series of workshops to help you stay on track financially.
Newcomers to Canada: How to set up your Canadian finances for International Students is presented by the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) to help you prepare for life in Canada as an International student. During this workshop, you will learn:
- what kind of expenses to expect,
- how banking and credit works for international students,
- ways to earn income and how to file your taxes, and
- much more!
This event is offered online only. Registration is required for all attendees using the Register button.

Workshop Draws
For anyone who attends the full workshop and fills out the feedback form within 1 hour of the workshop, will be entered in a draw for a $100 PC grocery gift card.* Draws will be 2 hours after the workshop and successful recipients will be notified by email!
