Join us for the 39th Annual Rotary Fun Run and Walk on Wednesday, May 27!

Get ready to hit the waterfront with Team Georgian! The Georgian Alumni Association is proud to once again lead our participation in the Rotary Fun Run and Walk, offering alumni, staff and faculty an exclusive, subsidized registration rate. Even better, the first 40 students to register through the student registration form can participate at no cost!

Bring the whole family and stop by the Team Georgian tent to meet Growler and pick up your bib and t-shirt. Choose from a 5K walk, 5K run or 10K run along Barrie’s scenic lakeshore, and don’t forget — kids can join Growler and Sprocket for the 250m fun run. 

When:  Wednesday, May 27
Where: General John Hayter Southshore Community Centre, 205 Lakeshore Dr, Barrie ON L4N 7Y9
Registration and bib pick-up: 5:30 to 6 p.m.
Kids 250m race: 6:15 p.m.
Run/walk start time: 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $32.50 per participant, $15 per child 12 and under

Team Georgian puts the fun in Fun Run

Rain didn’t dampen Team Georgian’s spirit at the 38th annual Rotary Club of Barrie Fun Run on Wednesday, May 28.

In fact, alumni, students, staff, faculty and their families and friends turned out in near record setting numbers to run, walk and puddle jump our way through the 5 km and 10 km races. Team Georgian is always proud to support the good work of Rotary and is appreciative to all Rotarians for their support of so many community causes.

Special congratulations and high five to Civil Engineering Technology student Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe for coming in first place in the 5 km run!
