Biography

Robert Cattle is the founding partner of Maynard & Scott Consulting, a York Region-based firm dedicated to supporting the development and growth of startups and small businesses. With more than 25 years of experience in business transformation, strategic planning, and leadership, Robert brings a deep understanding of what it takes to help early-stage ventures grow and succeed.

Before establishing Maynard & Scott, Robert served as Business Transformation and Global Account Manager at Geodis Global Solutions, following a 21-year career at IBM Canada in a range of senior technical, professional, and leadership roles.

He also served as Executive in Residence and Director of Partnerships and Special Projects at ventureLAB, where he led the Health Ecosphere Innovation Pipeline—a federally funded initiative designed to accelerate innovation in the health sector.

A strong advocate for regional economic development, Robert actively works across York Region and Simcoe County, delivering workshops and providing hands-on, practical guidance to local entrepreneurs. For the past seven years, he has taught and coordinated Entrepreneurship programs at Georgian College, and continues to mentor emerging founders through the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, the Small Business Enterprise Centre, and Seneca College’s HELIX Accelerator, helping them launch, grow, and scale their ventures.
