Get the experience: Co-op and beyond

Georgian is a recognized leader in student work experience, and we believe in the power of real-world opportunities that take you out of the classroom and immerse you in your industry. Almost all of Georgian’s programs offer some type of work-integrated learning experience, and 100% of them emphasize hands-on learning.

We can help you get experience as part of your program, so that you have the confidence and skills to succeed on the job.

  • Strong industry connections. 6,200 employers partner with Georgian to offer student work experiences.
  • High quality co-op. We have several programs accredited by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL Canada); This represents the highest standard of achievement for co-op programs in Canada.
  • Our grads get careers. According to Ontario Colleges Key Performance Indicators, Georgian’s graduate employment rate – 90.3% – continues to be above the provincial average, which we’ve exceeded for more than 25 years. This means 90.3% of our alumni found work within six months of graduation.
