Grad letters and unofficial transcripts: Check your document hub

The process Georgian uses to assess whether students have met all graduation requirements is called auditing. As soon as you’re officially deemed a graduate through the auditing process, your graduation letter and unofficial transcript PDFs will be added to your document hub on MyGCLife. You’ll have four months to retrieve and save these documents.

As long as you apply to graduate by the deadline in your final term, your application will be audited by the following dates:

  • Completing final courses in fall: audited by Feb. 1.
  • Completing final courses in winter: audited by June 1.
  • Completing final courses in summer: audited by Oct. 1.

You don’t need to submit requests for these documents. They’ll automatically appear in the document hub after auditing, and you’ll receive an email to your Georgian College email notifying you of the upload. You can also retrieve an unofficial transcript at any time in your Banner account.

Official transcripts for admission to another Ontario institution: Request through OCAS or OUAC

If you require an official transcript for admission to another school in Ontario, please place the request through the OCAS or OUAC website, where you submitted your application. We’ll send the transcript directly to the other institution within 72 hours.

Official transcripts for employment or accreditation: Request through MyGCLife

If you need official transcripts, visit the Request a Transcript page on MyGCLife. You might need official transcripts to apply to an accredited body, to provide proof of graduation to an employer, or for other reasons.

Your electronic transcript will be uploaded to the MyCreds™ Learner portal. You’ll receive a notification at your Georgian College email address when it’s ready to share.

Frameable credentials: Apply to graduate

If you applied to graduate by the deadline and RSVP’d yes to convocation, your official Georgian credential (frameable paper college certificate, diploma or degree) will be printed for convocation. If you RSVP and do not attend your convocation ceremony, you’ll have the option to pick up your credential or have it mailed once within Ontario at no charge.

All graduates will receive a digital credential uploaded to My Creds within 1 to 2 months of being deemed a graduate. You’ll have four months to access My Creds and save the digital credential. You’ll receive an email from My Creds when the upload is complete.

If you did not RSVP to convocation and still require a frameable credential, please reach out to registrar@georgiancollege.ca. If the credential is available to be printed you’ll be provided a Request Form. Please note processing time is 8 to 12 weeks plus shipping (if applicable).

Late graduation applications are reviewed and processed after those submitted on time. Students who wish to attend convocation must attend the ceremony that aligns with the date they were deemed a graduate. Students aren’t permitted to attend future convocation ceremonies.

Here are upcoming graduation application deadlines:

  • Completing final courses in summer 2026: Request to graduate by Aug. 14, 2026.
  • Completing final courses in fall 2026: Request to graduate by Dec. 18, 2026.

Students with job offers or expiring study permits: Submit an inquiry
