Steps to apply for transfer credit and PLAR

Georgian’s Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) process helps you earn credit for the knowledge and experience you already have. You can transfer credits from previous education or have your work and life experience assessed through Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR), allowing you to apply past learning toward your program.

How do I transfer credits into Georgian?

If you’ve completed courses at different post-secondary institution, you may be able to apply those credits toward your program at Georgian. Transfer credits let you build on what you’ve already learned, saving you time and keeping you on track toward graduation.
