Course description

In this course, students reinforce skills in key areas of security field operations, including personnel security, physical security, information management, risk management, incident response, and security awareness, through the work-integrated learning (WIL) experience. Students work collaboratively with guidance from faculty, placement supervisors, and peers to explore new experiences, address challenges, and enhance individual performance. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving and the development of effective strategies to succeed in this and other related security professions

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
