Course description

Students focus on common health challenges faced by individuals experiencing complex variations in health. The meaning of health and illness is explored from both a client and family perspective. Current nursing interventions, medical treatments and diagnostic tests are examined and considered for a variety of diagnoses. Integrative knowledge will help students develop the critical thinking and problem solving necessary to enhance nursing care for a range of clients within a variety of settings
