PHRM 2004


Course description

Students apply knowledge of federal and provincial legislation affecting pharmacy practice in Ontario. The scope of practice of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians is emphasized. Jurisprudence, the Code of Ethics and professionalism are points of focus. Students examine their role within the profession and their responsibilities for meeting legal, ethical and professional requirements.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
