Course description

Students examine the origins and differentiation of forensic mental health as a unique field of practice. Elements of effective care for clients with mental illness within the justice system are considered and clinically-sound, ethical, and evidence-informed treatment options are explored. Considerations for those working in this area of practice and goals of various service options are examined.

and (Post Graduate level MHCC 1013 Major Mental Disorders Minimum Grade of 60
or Post Graduate level MHCC 1000 Major Mental Disorders Minimum Grade of 60)
