Course description

Students practice documentation methods while exploring issues, strategies, and interventions to be used with children and youth in agency or community environments. With guidance from faculty and peers, students examine complex scenarios from placement and apply advanced skills and intervention strategies required in various contexts and settings. Students practice observation and assessment skills and compose accurate and professional documentation related to system and context specific requirements. Students refine professionalism using inclusive and developmentally responsive communication, relevant to the scope and field of Child and Youth Care practice
