Exploring Literature
HUMN 1006
Course description
Students examine literary texts with a focus on elements of literary traditions. They read short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction, and other genres, and explore the way writing strategies contribute to a deepened understanding of the texts. With a focus on diverse voices in literature, students are introduced to analyzing literature in relation to social, cultural, historical, and personal contexts
