Developing Leadership
GNED 1011
Course description
Leadership isn’t about titles – it’s about impact. In this course, students explore leadership from personal and relational perspectives, using self-reflection as a tool to deepen their understanding of their leadership journey and development. They examine how effective leaders build trust, foster collaboration, and create inclusive environments in dynamic and diverse spaces. They also review and apply leadership theories, models, and competencies to a variety of contexts. As a result, students develop the tools to enhance their effectiveness in and out of formal leadership roles and to develop meaningful relationships in their personal lives, workplaces, and communities
