Course description

Students further develop skills in medical terminology by defining, spelling, and analyzing medical and scientific terms. Human anatomy and physiology are studied in relation to the structure and function of the body and the interaction in maintaining homeostasis. Diagnostic testing procedures and disease processes are explored

Post Secondary level OFAD 1006 Intro Medical Terms Minimum Grade of 50
or Post Secondary level OFAD 1011 Medical Terminology 1 (ODE) Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
